When Zada’s teenage son, Navin, is shot dead close to their home in Copenhagen, the police try to convince Zada of his gang affiliation. Zada doesn’t know what to believe, but when she learns that a 14-year-old Swedish boy shot Navin, Zada becomes determined to uncover who is really behind her son’s murder. Through a grief group for mothers who have lost their children to gang violence in Malmö, Zada is thrust into a world, where victims and perpetrators are one and the same. As a result, Zada’s pursuit of justice proves far more complicated than she ever imagined.
